Don't just take our word for it....

I've come here to gain CPD, catch up with friends.

I always get what I want to out of the show, particularly in terms of CPD, which is really beneficial. It's also good to take that back and give other members of the practice some CPD, even if they can't go.

I do make changes after I've been here. I also like to discuss with the lecturers themselves afterwards which is really useful because they can shed some light on my questions, which in turn I can pass back to the team.

I came for the CPD elements and it's also an easy way to touch base with everyone (on the exhibition floor) without having to have a million meetings throughout the year. I've been the last two years now. I get to see things I wouldn't normally get to see.

I get to see new products, we picked up some software last year so it's been good to develop that further.

Sum up in three words: big, busy, eventful.

Away from the learning, there is a good social scene and a chance to catch up with people you may not have seen for a while. I had a chance encounter with an Equine Vet who trained at Liverpool at the same time as me who I had not seen for 20 years and enjoyed a beer with some vets from this region I'd not seen for a while.

For such a big event, it remains personal with a good opportunity for learning, provides the ability to discuss and research equipment and products for the surgery and the chance to catch up with friends and colleagues.
