Soft mushy organs - surgical biopsy and excision of liver lobes, spleen, pancreas and kidneys

The aim of this lecture is to provide a practical approach to surgery of parenchymal organs. Surgical biopsy of these organs will be discussed utilising illustrations from case examples. Liver lobectomy, ureteronephrectomy and splenectomy technique will be reviewed and practical tips provided to improve surgical outcomes.
