TPLO, TTA, TTO, TWO – Solving the cruciate conundrum
Saturday 23rd October 12.00-12.50
Cruciate disease in dogs is one of the most common orthopaedic problems dealt with by veterinary surgeons. Over the years numerous techniques have been described for management of this condition. In more recent years there has been a trend towards performing various different tibial osteotomies for the management of this condition. This lecture will outline the basic principles and surgical techniques involved with these ‘newer’ procedures and how they compare to ‘older’ surgeries. It will also endeavour to guide the practitioner as to the most suitable option for each patient.
