Practical fluid therapy - what, why and when?

This lecture will cover aspects of fluid therapy concentrating on resuscitation of the collapsed patient. It will discuss the various types of fluid available, but concentrate on practical guidelines for assessment and management of these patients that can be easily applied to the practice situation.
