Rational antimicrobial therapy: Misunderstandings about antimicrobial drugs and their use continues to be a serious problem in the veterinary profession. This lecture will provide simple and practical guidelines for veterinarians to assist them to decide when antimicrobial therapy is indicated and when it is not and to choose the most appropriate drug for their patients.
