Harnessing Horse Power - Understanding and applying pyschological capacities

Being effective as a general practitioner requires much more than just clinical knowledge. The aim of this lecture is to enable vets, as well as mangers within the profession, to understand how various psychological capacities relate to veterinary work and veterinary outcomes. The lecture highlights the implications of evidence based psychological research regarding human effectiveness in conjunction with the results of psychologically analysed interviews with the Petplan Vet of the Year winners.
