The management of phenobarbitone resistant epilepsy poses a significant challenge to practitioners and pet owners.  With the approval of several new antiepileptic drugs for the management of human epilepsy, the treatment options available for dogs and cats have increased.  This lecture will discuss treatment options available when phenobarbitone fails.
