Elaine Holt

Elaine qualified from the University of Illinois and completed a small animal internship at the Animal Medical Centre in New York City.  After working in general practice she completed a residency in Comparative Veterinary Ophthalmology at the University of California, Davis.  Elaine became a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists in 2001 and a diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists in 2006.  She was head of clinical ophthalmology at the University of Pennsylvania for five years then a lecturer at the RVC before joining North Downs Specialists Referrals in 2006.  Elaine is an examiner for the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists and an RCVS specialist in Veterinary Ophthalmology.
